HaveKar is a car rental marketplace that connects travellers with Moroccan rental agencies. Our website is available at havekar.com. When this policy refers to 'HaveKar', 'we', 'us' or 'our', it means the HaveKar platform and its operator.

2. What data we collect

We collect data you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account or submit a booking request. We also collect usage data automatically, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs, to operate and improve our service.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to: create and manage your account; process and communicate booking requests between you and rental agencies; send transactional emails (booking confirmations, password resets); improve and personalise our platform; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data sharing

Your contact information is shared with the rental agency only when you submit a booking request, so they can confirm or respond to your request. We do not share your data with advertisers or unaffiliated third parties except as required by law.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 12 months after you delete it, to comply with legal and operational obligations. Booking records may be retained for up to 5 years for accounting purposes.

7. Your rights

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the 'last updated' date above. Continued use of HaveKar after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Gumroad Payments

  • 7-day money-back guarantee: Purchases made through Gumroad are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the transaction date.
  • Bank fees: Some banks may apply processing or conversion fees. HaveKar is not responsible for any charges added by your bank.
  • Payments outside our website: Coverage and subscription benefits begin only after your license key is activated on HaveKar. Payments made outside havekar.com or havekar.gumroad.com are not covered.
  • One official Gumroad store: HaveKar's only official store is the HaveKar Gumroad Store. Always verify the link before purchasing. If unsure, contact us before completing any payment.
  • License key responsibility: Your license key is issued to you personally. Do not share it with others. You can retrieve it at any time from the email sent by Gumroad. Always use a valid email address when purchasing.

12. Agent Payments

  • Verified agents only: Our authorized agents are listed on our Agents page. We will never send anyone outside that list. Always verify the agent's identity before proceeding.
  • No overcharging: Our agents will never ask for a price above the official subscription rate (6-month or 1-year plan). Any request for additional payment is unauthorized — please report it or contact us.
  • Immediate activation: The agent must activate your subscription on HaveKar before you hand over payment. If the service is unavailable for any reason (e.g., maintenance), the operation must be cancelled. If anything goes wrong, contact us by phone: +212661798624.
  • Your contact data: Your phone number may be shared with the assigned agent solely to arrange the in-person meeting and confirm activation. It is not used for any other purpose.

13. Bank Transfer Payments

  • Moroccan banks only: We only accept transfers from Moroccan bank accounts to our official account. Transfers from foreign banks are not accepted.
  • Double-check account details: We are not responsible for errors made during the transfer. Always verify the account number you received from our support before sending. If anything is unclear, contact us before proceeding.
  • Express transfer required: Always send your payment using the instant (Express) option. We cannot activate your subscription until the full amount is received on our end.
  • Bank fees are your responsibility: Any fees charged by your bank are your sole responsibility and are not covered by HaveKar.
  • Insufficient amount policy: If we receive an amount less than the product price, we will return it to the source account after verification. Any fees incurred during the return are on your account.

14. CashPlus & WafaCash Payments

  • Contact us first: Before sending any money, reach us on WhatsApp or by phone so we can give you the exact recipient name to use for the transfer.
  • Agency fees are your responsibility: CashPlus and WafaCash charge fees that vary by amount. These are entirely on you — we only accept the full subscription price and will not cover any deducted fees.
  • Double-check the recipient name: We are not responsible for transfer errors. Always verify the exact name received from our support before sending. If anything is unclear, contact us first.
  • Insufficient amount policy: If we receive an amount less than the product price, we will return it to the source after verification. Return fees are on you.
